Rosemary Essential oil Organic

We use two different types of Rosemary Essential oil in our products this are Rosemary Verbenone Essential oil Organic and Rosemary Camphor Essential oil Organic. Rosemary Verbenone essential oil is used for the regenerating properties it poses. The oil can also be used to reduce skin blemishes, scars in acne prone skin and improves the condition of oily skin. Rosemary Camphor essential oil has high camphor content and may be used for its pain relief. They oil is used in aromatherapy to aid in releasing muscular tension and easing aches and pains.

Historically Rosemary has been used for its culinary and medicinal properties since ancient times. Bouquets of rosemary were found in Egyptian tombs dating as far back as the First Dynasty (c. 3100 BC), it’s thought that the Rosemary where used in incense for worshipping their gods. The Romans believed that rosemary symbolized stability, and was considered to be sacred. Rosemary has long been recognized as a symbol of remembrance. It was reputed to strengthen the memory. Rosemary was used in wedding ceremonies and at funerals it would be placed on the coffin as a sign of remembrance. In ancient times rosemary was also considered an herb of protection. During the middle ages in England it was reputed to drive away nightmares if placed near the bed and when planted around the house or hung outside the front door and windows it was believed to protect the home from thieves.
